It’s always interesting to see what comes up with different astrological cycles as they take place. The Mars once-in-2-year retrograde cycle began on December 20 and ends on March 10. Mars is linked to power among many other things. The power of vehicles to move us from one point to another is closely linked to Mars symbolism, as are horses which did the job before industrialization brought us the car. Horsepower is the unit of measurement used to determine the output of engines. It would appear to be no accident that the car manufacturer, Toyota, has been forced to fess up to serious mechanical problems during this Mars retrograde cycle; interesting, too, that these mechanical faults have to do with the accelerator pedals and the braking system. These are two devices you use to control the output of power from a car’s engine.

In the first half of the Talk, I will give you a look beyond horoscope forecasts and an explanation of what astrology is all about and how it can empower you. The second half of the Talk will focus on the current world alignments that are taking place and how it ties in with the Mayan prophecies. Is December 21, 2012 something to be concerned about?
