There was a rather long void-of-course Moon yesterday that lasted from 12.29pm to 6:29pm. They usually last only minutes and so pass by unnoticed. The void-of-course Moon is the period between the Moon’s last major alignment to a planet and it’s entry into the next sign. The Moon enters a new sign about every 54 hours hence these void periods come every couple of days.

Agreements that are made and endeavours that are initiated during these void periods are said to not achieve their intended result. President Barack Obama was inaugurated during one such void-of-course Moon at Noon on Tuesday January 20, 2009.

It’s normally hard to concentrate during these void periods, so they normally don’t prove to be very productive. Meditating, catching up on tasks or sorting out mundane issues normally work well during these times. If during yesterday’s void, you discussed some sort of plan or strategy, that’s good. But if you shook hands and made an agreement – beware. You’ll have to keep a sharp eye on it.
