Thought for the Day
Thursday, February 25, 2010
The sense of excitement is mounting as Mars approaches its powerful “station direct” on March 10. That is the point when Mars ends its apparent backward movement, stops, and returns to direct motion. As each moment passes, the planet of energy, power, aggression, action, war, sports and athletes is increasing in strength and potency.
The Olympic Games in Vancouver are part of this cycle. The sense of drama and excitement is very high. The tragic death of the Georgian luger and the sudden death of the mother of Canada’s heroic figure skater Joannie Rochette are part of this drama. Rochette’s courageous drive to carry on in the competition is the kind of energy that Mars gives us. The intensity of the Canada/Russia men’s hockey game last night was also fuelled by this astrological energy.
The Full Moon this weekend is highly significant. Full Moons magnify whatever is in the air. Everything is primed to reach a spectacular crescendo on Saturday and Sunday. Tragedy versus joy! Gloom versus celebration! Are you finding that your emotions are swinging from one extreme to another? Do your best to find the middle road. Keep your feelings on a stable and positive footing. This is potentially a positive turning point in your life, if you hold hope high with consistent and unrelenting determination.
As well as giving Live Personal Readings in downtown Toronto, I am now also meeting clients in a superb venue in historic Georgetown (northwest of Toronto) every Monday. Please let me know if you are interested in booking a session in Toronto or Georgetown and I’ll email you with an explanation on how to go about it.
If today is your birthday
Wisdom grows in equal measure to the intensity and frequency of setbacks. The greater your failure, the greater your potential wisdom as long as you don’t loose the lesson. Without the experience of failure, success would taste like stale wine. The stars, this year, have every intention of offering you a vintage year as a reward for all your troubles. It’ll be long remembered as one of the best.
Happy birthday to:
Sean Astin, 39.
I am preparing to give Talks in Toronto, Bolton (NW of Toronto) and several other places. The dates will be announced as soon as they have been established. I’ll also post an explanation on how to go about registering for it. It’ll be about a 2 or 3 hour affair. In the first half of the Talk, I will give you a look beyond horoscope forecasts and an explanation of what astrology is all about and how it can empower you. The second half of the Talk will focus on the current world alignments that are taking place and how it ties in with the Mayan prophecies. Is December 21, 2012 something to be concerned about?
We are all born with a distinct purpose and an exciting destiny waiting to be fulfilled, but the deafening din of this mad world makes it virtually impossible to correctly get our bearings.
If you need an objective view of a burning issue or require advice in making a major decision, the ancient wisdom of astrology can provide guidance.
With your Date, Time (if you have it) and Place of Birth you can order an Astrology Report or book a Live Personal Reading with Phil.
