We been following the Sun’s journey through the celestial storm clouds that have been hovering over the entire world – namely, the configuration formed by Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. This has not been seen since 1929, the start of the Great Depression and the lead up to WWII in 1939. The Sun, by contacting each of the planets individually, has been translating the celestial symbolism into our human experience in a myriad of ways. I can’t pick up on all of them, but here are some salient points.

Firstly, on March 17, the Sun met up with Uranus (maverick/rebellion) and Michael Moore appeared on CNN, angrily attacking capitalism and espousing the need for change. Then secondly, on Wed March 21 – the Sun (symbol of leadership, destiny) met up by opposition with Saturn (courts, laws, contracts), and, eh voila, the US House passes the healthcare bill. This also coincided with the Equinox of March 20. This is a very powerful juxtaposition. Then, thirdly, on March 25, with the Full Moon amplifying issues over the ensuing weekend, the Sun then moved on to explosive and volcanic Pluto (anger, repression, extreme intensity). Here we saw the conservative backlash of anger in the US. Sarah Palin led thousands of Tea Party protesters in Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid’s, hometown in Nevada. She called on voters to fire him.

The Sun/Pluto also gave us another, very sinister, message over the weekend. Nine alleged members of a US militia called the Hutaree were rounded up and arrested for conspiring to kill law enforcement officers. The Sun was translating the deep repressed anger of the Saturn/Pluto contact that is bubbling up out of the humanity’s unconscious. In today’s article, we’ve focussed on the US and the symbolic battle between the status quo and the forces of change, but there are many other events reflecting this around the world i.e. China, Korea, Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc, etc. We can’t go through all of them now. There’s plenty of food for thought. The Sun’s journey through this area of the sky is letting us know what to expect in the coming months.

Mars now is about to deliver a message in the coming days. You may notice you’re feeling particularly rushed and short of time right now. Yes, the speed of life is most definitely accelerating, but in the coming days we’ll all feel that current pushing us harder than ever. Let’s look at that tomorrow.

In the meantime, be as patient as you can. Keep your temper in check. Who cares about the traffic jam or some idiot that cut you off? Forget it. It’s minor stuff. Think about Venus and Mercury. They are now hovering close to each other. This is good. It’s peaceful and serene. There is hope!
