The Mars retrograde phase finally comes to an end as the planet of war, aggression, drive, willpower, movement, cars, horsepower, iron etc comes to a full stop this Wednesday March 10, before returning to direct motion for another two years. It turned backwards three month ago on December 20 very near the Winter Solstice of the 21st. It’s hard to believe that time has passed so quickly since those dark winter days. Now we’re looking at the uplifting Vernal Equinox of March 20th for the Northern Hemisphere.

The power of Mars in feisty Leo is at a crescendo. The cluster of huge earthquakes currently shaking the Earth is closely linked to Mars, which acts like a trigger setting off the gunpowder. It strikes the spark that starts the fire. Help is on the way though as Venus, this weekend, forms a smooth angle to Mars thus bringing some harmony into the picture. It’s good for romance and warm social interaction with family and friends. This will be a great weekend. Sunday’s Last Quarter Moon phase will put you in the right mood to look back over the past lunar month which began on February 14, and come to some profound and insightful conclusions.

Make the most of it, because by mid-week angst and conflict will be in the air. Forewarned is forearmed, so breathe deeply and think about things that make you happy. Inspiration will come to you from Venus, which is now visible low in the western sky after sunset. Know that a benevolent source in this universe is watching over you and doing everything it can to get you successfully through your challenges.
