We are currently under the canopy of a 3-planet configuration involving Saturn, Uranus and Pluto which has not been seen since 1929. At that time it marked the start of the Great Depression which lasted through the 1930’s and ended with WWII. This is not an alignment that lasts days or months. It is one that lasts years.

Over the past two weeks, Venus has swiftly drifted through this celestial battle zone. In some ways, it has mitigated the effect. The planet of beauty has brought something of a feel good factor into our lives. But Venus also governs finance and human relations, so its recent journey through this turmoil has highlighted the political, social and economic tension that is gathering pace in the world.

For example, the battle lines of the great divide in US politics have been clearly drawn in the past couple of weeks. The catalyst has been the health care reform debate which has polarized the two fundamentally different philosophies that are battling over supremacy in the US.

More examples can be found with the spike in tension in Israel over the building of homes in East Jerusalem or the devastating bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. And now there are demonstrations in Greece over a debilitating financial crisis and the need for severe austerity measures.

But let the world of Man go its crazy way. All that matters is that you are at peace in your own heart. Direct your thoughts to all that is so important to you like the love for your family, children, parents, siblings and your friends. And indeed even your pets. Animals deserve our love and respect. By keeping your thoughts and feelings positive and warm, the power of these harsh alignments will manifest in a most positive way in your own existence. This is the beginning of a wondrous chapter of happiness in your life.
