We are in the midst of the hot and sultry Dog Days of Summer in the northern hemisphere when the Leo Sun reaches peak intensity. This week begins with Mars stirring up storm involving the Cardinal Climax planets – Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto. Anything could happen this week especially with Pluto in hard alignment to them all.

Pluto’s propensity for control is what lies at the root of the most sweeping overhaul of Wall Street regulations since the 1930’s with the passage of the Financial Regulatory Reform Act on July 21st. Also connected to Pluto is the growth of big government and an alarming increase in police powers as evidenced during the G20 summit in Toronto.

By the end of the week, Venus (femininity and finances) will follow Mars into that Cardinal Climax battle zone. That will stir up the financial markets. With Venus in the storm, we can be sure to see Sarah Palin and her Mama Grizzlies getting back in the news. A battle for women’s votes is brewing between her and President Obama.
