Two things are happening today:

1) At 2 minutes after the stroke of midnight, the Moon makes its once a month close approach to the Earth.

2) Then at 6:30am the Moon’s orbit takes it between the Earth and the Sun, thus launching another 29.5-day lunar month.

Normally these two events are separated by more than day. But when they happen within just a few hours as they are today, dramatic things happen. The potency of this New Moon will be intensified making it feel more like a Full Moon.

The juxtaposition of these two events will launch a lunar month with more punch and pizzazz the rest. Anything can happen. Tectonic plates will grind releasing tension in the form of earthquakes. Hot steaming pressure from deep within the Earth will spew lava and ash out through unstable volcanoes.

The long-dormant Mount Sinabung volcano of Indonesian began erupting again yesterday. It’s been quiet for over 400 years. This month may bring action from the Popocatepetl volcano of Mexico.

Extreme weather patterns such as flooding in some places and wildfires in others look set to continue. Hurricanes risk being extremely powerful. The drama is high, the tension is great and there’s a sense that something is going to explode.

Just remember that the power that is in the air now is all yours to be tapped. Rather than expressing your feelings in anger, rage, frustration, melancholy or depression, use this power to generate positive feelings and emotions. Use it wisely and you’ll find that miraculous life-changing developments will sweep over you.
