Jupiter (expansion, freedom) is squaring off (90-degree angle) with Pluto (repression). It’s an alignment that has been in place off and on over the past year. The third of three exact alignments has just completed. It won’t be wearing off any time soon. It’s here to stay many more months.

It’s directly linked to the revolutionary fervour that is sweeping through North Africa and the Middle East. This period of social unrest doesn’t look set to dissipate.

It’s being felt as far away as China where authorities have put on a show of force in Beijing and Shanghai. Police there blocked some tiny protests and harassed journalists.

The American state of Wisconsin too has been experiencing protests as a result of the Republican Governor Scott Walker’s call to curb collective bargaining rights of workers.

If you’re up a dawn, or perhaps this will give you a good reason to get up early, look to the east. If the sky is clear, you’ll see a dwindling crescent Moon posing with the beautiful diamond light of Venus. But whether you see it or not, it is happening. So make your wishes and prepare to move with the proactive surge of positive energy that Friday’s New Moon brings. This is potentially and inspiring moment of positive change in your life.
