Be honest and ask yourself how you feel deep down about a situation in which you are engaged. Life is too short to allow yourself to get dragged into trouble and strife. A determined demeanour is needed to get this resolved and break out of an old debilitating pattern. You are not obliged to do anything you’d rather avoid. It’s a free country. Follow your heart and do what you really want to do.

DAILY THOUGHT
ASTEROIDS AND METEORITES
A large house-sized asteroid gave us a narrow miss on Thursday. I don’t know about you, but it didn’t seem to get a lot of news coverage. The rock, designated as 2017 TD6 flew by halfway between the Moon and Earth 2:53pm ET. It was first discovered last week on October 11.

It came on the heels of another close shave by Asteroid 2012 TC4 last week on Oct. 12. This asteroid is the 39th to pass by Earth within the Moon’s orbit in 2017 alone. You might be starting to feel like a metal duck in a circus shooting gallery.

Earth is travelling into another meteor shower. This one is called the Orionids. These occur between about Oct. 2 to Nov.7. Earth is passing through the stream of debris left behind by Comet Halley. So, over the next few days your chances are good for spotting a “shooting star.” The lack of Moon light makes this a good time to see them. If you see any, make sure you make your wish.
